Designed for a lovely family of three, one of whom was born during the execution of the project, this three bedroom 1200 sft. home in the eastern Mumbai suburb of Sewri was an exercise in restraint. The home is blessed with lovely views towards the eastern seafront, a lot of natural light and a calm breeze through the day living up to its name of "The Sanctuary"  

The clients were very clear on their vision for the home and wanted a fuss-free space with a lot of open circulation. The palette has been kept neutral and the home has been designed around warm shades of oak and teak veneer with complimenting pastel colors that help open the space up visually. 

Each room is designed to reflect the personality of the user; the child's bedroom is a combination of a soothing yellow paired with a vibrant tangerine while the master bedroom is designed with a base of an elegant blue offset with a coastal tropical wallpaper meant to reflect the outdoors.
