A nine storey, 29 unit condominium building in an up and coming neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, this development was designed to stand out from the surrounding brick clad buildings. Each apartment unit is efficiently laid out to maximize space and allow for natural light and ventilation. The building features private outdoor spaces, fully equipped kitchens, Italian-tiled bathrooms, washer-dryer hookups and video intercom for each apartment.
The model apartments for the BECA Condominiums were designed to cater to four different demographics of occupants. Colors were used against a predominantly white palette to create identities for different apartment types. The show apartments were designed on a modest budget using primarily flat pack furniture from IKEA.
The apartment layouts were conceived, designed and styled to maximize the feeling of openness with a focus on natural light and views out to the neighborhood.
