The two partners at (de)CoDe architecture have lived and worked in New York City before establishing the practice in Mumbai. During their time there, they have worked with well established boutique practices on projects of varying scales and typologies.

Whilst working in New York, they have had the unique opportunity to travel all over the eastern coast and some parts of the western coast of the United States. These travels and the interaction with the various clients, contractors and architects on the various projects have informed their sensibilities and their attitude towards the profession and have made them more open to new experiences and challenges.
