A project for one of our youngest and dearest clients, this three bedroom, 1400 sq, ft. apartment in Whitefield, Bangalore was a pure joy to work on. The client, an opinionated and adorable one year old was the pivot around which the entire design and spatial experience was planned. The parents in their late twenties wanted a young, vibrant space that was extremely functional yet spoke of their taste, interests and travels and allowed them to entertain.

The home, situated on the ninth floor is blessed with natural light with all three bedrooms and the living room awash with sunlight through the day. The color palette was designed to accentuate the natural light and complement it through patterns and warm shades of yellow, powder blue, grey, natural beige and teak that help keep the space young and bright. The artwork and decor is carefully selected and curated to balance the entire space and to give it personality.

The aspect of function is taken care of by providing ample hidden storage throughout the house that allows the family to live clutter-free yet take care of their growing needs. We look forward and hope to see this home become a joyous and calming space for this young family for years to come and for them to make their own.
