The brief for this 700sft. home was to maximize space and accommodate a home office within the restricted space of a one bedroom apartment with a large kitchen. The solution devised by us involved converting the large kitchen into a bedroom and dividing the large-ish bedroom into a kitchen and a small bedroom.

The existing balcony was converted into a fully functional home office with a bookshelf that wraps around the balcony walls to house the library of books that the client has collected over a number of years. The palette used over the house is a contrast of light and dark materials combined with blocks of color.

This home is close to our heart and is a humble example of our work and our belief; keep it simple.
